The churchyard surrounding St. Mary's church is peaceful with the oldest burials registered over 500 years ago.
Please refer to the contact page for register enquiry details.
The original churchyard was entirely enclosed with a flint wall, and following the first extension in the 20th century metal railings were used for part of the boundary.
A project is underway to win financial support to enable the churchyard to be sympathetically extended again. We are grateful that a specialist conservation consultancy have identified the Wemdems Ambo church yard project as suitable for a master flint knapper to teach an annual traditional flint wall build and maintenance skills course.
