Our ancient church is supported by a large number of villagers, as is evident from the rota for flowers, churchyard maintenance, cleaners and sidespeople. Visitors to the church and churchyard are welcome. Up-to-date contact details are placed in the porch. The maintenance of the churchyard is by volunteers on a frequently changing rota. In line with diocese guidlines we kindly request that only natural flowers are placed on a grave. We do not have the facilities to dispose of non-organic material, please take this home with you. We hope you enjoy your visit to St. Mary the Virgin, and let us know by completing the visitor's book before you leave. |
