Lord Braybrooke gifted the Hall to Wendens Ambo church for Sunday School use during the 19th century. More recently through sustained village fundraising activity the hall has been substantially improved and is booked for a wide range of group interests and activities.
Run by an efficient Village Hall Committee, the facilites are modern and comfortably accommodate up to about 100 people.
Wendens Ambo is a social village and events at the hall include a childrens pre-school (run during weekday mornings) WI, carpet bowls, Art class, quiz nights and the occasional village party.
Village notices are displayed on boards opposite the cricket ground on the B1039 and in the church porch. The information each contains may differ.
