It is hoped that the services held at St. Mary the Virgin (Wendens Ambo, Saffron Walden, Essex) strive to bring God into the community of our small congregations through a range of traditional and modern christian faith services.

Family service, mattins, communion and prayer meetings are held regulary. Our recent evensong trial proved a success which we hope to repeat, as with our fundraiser!

We are under the Saffron Walden Team for clergy and pastoral care. Our Team Vicar is Rev. Christopher Warren.

Our family services are sometimes led by Assistant Churchwarden Tim Hardingham, who is taking theological studies for the priesthood, and Dominic Russell.

Dr Simon Potter, our organist, is keen to expand the choir.
